Marion Bryant

Marion S. Bryant, 71, of 518 Linden Ave., died Monday, Nov. 3, 2008, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital. The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8 at Grainger Chapel Church of Christ Disciples of Christ with Dr. Malcolm S. Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. Order of Eastern Star-Divine Chapter No. 207 rites will be held at 6 p.m. at Swinson Funeral Service. Survivors include her hus-band, Curley Bryant of the home; daughters Dollie D. Joyner, Shirley A. Buchanan, Jennifer Y. Howard, Darvetta K. Bryant, and Jacqueline C. Davis, all of Kinston; sister Martha Hodges of Kinston; brothers Clarence Stevens of Kinston and Square Cox of Baltimore, Md.; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 3-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7 at Swinson Funeral Service.
