Martha Jean "MaMu" Garner

With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services along with the Garner Family announce the transition of 65 year old Ms. Martha Jean Garner of 807 Chestnut Street, Kinston, on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at UNC Lenoir Healthcare.

Service will be held 2:00 p,m Saturday, August 20, 2022 from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel.  Visitation will be held Friday, August 19, 2022 from 4 to 6 pm  from the chapel.

She is survived by one son-Rico Garner of the home one daughter-Shawnlett Garner of Kinston, five sisters-Betty Franklin of Kinston, Edna Franklin of Georgia, Harriette King of Kinston, Linda Garner of Goldsboro and Patricia McKiver of Pink Hill, two grands and three great grands.
