God looked around the garden,

He looked down upon the earth,

For He only takes the best.

He knew that you were weary,

and He knew you were in pain.

He knew that you would never

be well on earth again.

He saw the roads were getting rough,

and the hills were hard to climb.

So He closed your weary eyelids,

and whispered peace be thine.

The Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services mourns with the family on the death of Mrs. Mar Alice Davis, of 604 E. Highland Ave., who passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2018 peacefully at home.

A Celebration of Life will take place 2:00PM Sunday, October 14, 2018 at the Post Oak FWB Church. Burial  will take place in the Southview Cemetery.

Visitation will take place  4:00PM-7:00PM Saturday, October 13, 2018 from the Robert Swinson Jr. Memorial Chapel.

Family & Friends are being received at 604 E. Highland Ave. - Kinston NC where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral processional.
