The Davidson & Moore Family sorrowfully announce the transition of 76 years old, Mrs. Mattie King Davidson of Durham, NC, who passed away Friday, August 23, 2019, at the Duke University Hospital.

Services will be on Friday, August 30, 2019, at 11:00 AM at St. Augustus AME Zion Church. Interment and Military Honors will take place in the Pinelawn Memorial Park. A public visitation will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2019, from 4:00 PM-7:00 PM from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel.

Family & Friends are being received at 2005 Carr-Lyles Dr. - Kinston NC, where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral processional.

She leaves to cherish her beloved memory: her son, Derek Moore (Karen) of Durham; brothers Anthony Cedric Moore (Linda) of Malboro, MD, Orlander Van Moore of San Diego, CA; sisters Blendia Moore Joyner (Melvin) of Kinston, Ella Moore Clarke of Kinston, Evelyn Moore Knight of Washington, DC, three grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; host of family and friends.
