With sorrowful hearts, the staff of Swinson Funeral Services would like to announce the death of 81 year old, Ms. Mattlen Shackleford of 308 E. Bright St.-Kinston which passed away on Thursday, August 23, 2012 from her residence.
Ms. Shackleford's "HomeGoing Celebration" will be held Tuesday, August 28, 2012 from the St. Mary Episcopal Church with Rev. Bonnie Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Delight Cemetery of Walstonburg.
Visitation will be held Monday evening, August 27, 2012 from the Robert Swinson Jr. Memorial Chapel.
