Milton Becton

Deacon Milton Becton, 95, of Miami Gardens, Florida died on Wednesday, October 20, 2010. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at 1 PM from the New Mt. Zion Christian Church in Dover, NC with Bishop Malcolm Johnson officiating. Interment to follow in Becton Family Cemetery. He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Thelma Becton Davis of Miami, Florida; his son, Alfred Reginald Becton (Sandra) of Rustburg, Virginia; Godson, Hakeem "Buster" Whitfield; two foster daughters, Evelyn Wingate Gibbs and Verna Louise Gordon (Floyd); brother-in-law, Elbert Branch (Hilda); sisters-in-law, Sarah Becton, Eugenia Speed (John), Laura Wigate, Inez Branch, Lillie Branch and Reba Murrell; 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren; 25 nieces and nephews, 50 grand nieces and nephews, 62 great grand nieces and nephews and 1 great, great, grand niece.
