Odell Harris

Odell Junior Harris the child of Bernice Harris and Ardell Cox was born August 28, 1970, and departed this earthly life on July 5, 2008.

Odell attended the Wilson County Schools. He was employed by the Snider Tire Company of Wilson NC.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Zaneta W. Harris of the home, a stepson, Anthony Barnes, of the home, his mother Bernice Harris of Wilson NC, father Ardell Cox, of Lucama, NC, Eldress Janet Cox of Wilson NC, who helped raise him, four brothers Anthony Speight, Lamont Graham, Corey Williams and Shawn Harris all of Wilson NC, three sisters Shena Graham of Raleigh NC, LaQuania Dixon and Vanessa Hickman (Joseph) of Wilson NC, seven aunts Hattie Pearl McCarthy, Laura Harris Barbara Harris, Lorraine Ward, Yvonne Batts and Gwendolyn Worley of Maryland and Carolyn McClain of Washington DC. Six uncles, Franklin Cox (Robena), Joe Cox of Kenly NC, Pastor Henry Cox (Martha), William Cox (Ellen) of Wilson NC. Bishop Bobby Cox (Joyce) of Cameron, N.C. and Cornelius Cox (Dell) of Suitland, M.D.. Two sisters in law, Calandra Williams, and Chicana Williams both of Raleigh NC other relative and friends, including a special aunt Francine Williams and two special cousin Patricia Williams, 1st Sgt US Army Jesse J. Batts, two specials friends Benjamin Lee and Michael Barnes.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2008 at 1:00 PM at Feel Free Church Ministries in Wilson, NC with Pastor Anthony Cox officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
