With heavy and sorrowful hearts, we, the staff and management of R. Swinson Funeral Services, join the Davis family in announcing the transition of 79-year-old Mr. Otto Davis of 12801 Old Columbia Pike, Silver Spring, Maryland, formerly of LaGrange, NC, who entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 5, 2024, at Autum Lake Healthcare in Maryland. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Holly Grove FWB Church, with burial to follow in the Alice G. Wright Cemetery. A public visitation will be held Friday evening from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. 

Mr. Davis is survived by his wife-Arlena Davis of the home, two daughters-Sheila Davis of Charlotte, NC and LaWanda Slaughter of Buie, Maryland, three brothers-Clifton Davis, Jr. of Silver Spring, MD, Kenneth Davis of LaGrange, NC and Carna Davis of Virginia, five sisters- Delores Cannon, Mae Lillie Darden, Geraldine Davis, Thelma Davis and Annie Davis all of Kinston, NC, a host of grands, great grands and other relatives and friends.
