Raeford Sutton

Mr. Raeford Sutton, 71, of 2703 Graham Drive, passed away Sunday, Jan. 30, 2011, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.


The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, at Savannah FWB Church with Dr. N.W. Nicholson Sr. officiating. Entombment will be at Pinelawn Memorial Park. Survivors include his wife, Ethel Chapman Sutton of the home; son Romonte Sutton of New York; daughters Darshel Ray of New York and Takiyah Sutton of the home; brothers Earl Edward Sutton and LaFayette Sutton of Kinston, Theodore Sutton of Connecticut; sisters Ernestine Manley, Hazel Joyner, Myrtle Jean Nobles, Francine Williams and Annie Tilghman, all of Kinston, and Ermadene Fuller of New York; and five grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 3-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4, at Swinson Funeral Service
