Remus Stanley

With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services, along with the Stanley Family, announce the transition of 88-year-old Mr. Remus Stanley of 284 Pearson Road, Kinston, on Monday, April 14, 2025, at Kitty Askins Center in Goldsboro, NC.

Service will be held 1:00pm Saturday, April 19, 2025 from St. James FWB Church, burial will follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park.  Visitation will be held Friday, April 18, 2025, from the Robert Swinson, Jr., Memorial Chapel from 4-6 PM.

Mr. Stanley is survived by his wife, Mary D. Stanley of the home, one son, Remus Stanley of Kinston, two daughters, Tuqelia Stanley of Kinston and Michelle Blount of Farmville, NC.
