Mr. Robert Allen Dixon Sr. 69 of 5807 Gilbert School Road Grifton departed this life Friday evening August 21, 2009 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro. Funeral services will be held on Thursday August 27, 2009 at 3 PM from Little Creek Free Will Baptist Church in Ayden NC. Burial will follow in the Dixon Cemetery in Grifton. He leaves to cherish his loving memory wife Eula Dixon of Grifton NC, 2 sons Dexter Pittman of Wilson, Robert A. Dixon Jr. of Kinston NC, 3 daughters Angel Dixon and Charmaine Dixon, both of Grifton and Tearser Gill of Roanoke VA, sister Flora Townes of Port Reading NJ, 2 brothers Henry Dixon of Perth Amby NC and Lloyd Dixon Jr. of Elizabeth City. There will be a viewing on Wednesday August 26, 2009 3 PM to 8 PM. Professional services entrusted to Swinson Funeral Service.
