Roye Raspberry

Mr. Raspberry of 3230 Grainger Station Road, passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2011, at Harmony Hall Hospice Care of Kinston.

His services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, March 11, at Savannah FWB Church with Bishop Richard Artis officiating. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Mildred Raspberry of La Grange; sons Terry Raspberry and Thorton King of Kinston, Ervin Moye of La Grange; daughter Carolyn Raspberry of Virginia Beach, Va.; brother Jimmy J. Raspberry of San Diego, Calif.; sister Catherine McDaniel of Virginia; and 12 grandchildren. Visitation will be held 3-8 p.m. Thursday, March 10, from the Robert Swinson Jr. Memorial Chapel and other times at 308 W. Railroad St., La Grange.
