Ruby Cox

We regret to inform you of the recent death of Mrs. Ruby Cox 86, of 3301 Carey Road, went from labor to reward on Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2011, at her residence.

The family has planned a service to celebrate the life that she lived 11am Saturday, October 15, 2011 from the Saint John FWB Church with the General Vice Bishop Malcolm S. Johnson officiating. Entombment will follow in the Pinelawn Memorial Park. Survivors include daughters Eldress Joetta Cox, Jamaica Cox of the home, Antiquea Allen, Elvia Massenburg, and Virginia Cox-Daugherty of Kinston; son Harold Cox of Havelock; sisters Sula Cox of Kinston and Margaret Rhoe of New Jersey; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 3-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14 at Swinson Funeral Service, and other times at the home.
