Mr. Sabur Salaam, of 1644 Indigo Lane Kinston departed this life Tuesday July 7, 2009 at Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greenville. Funeral services will be held on Saturday July 11, 2009 at 2 PM from the Greater Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church with Bishop Terry Rosenboro officiating. Burial will follow at St. Matthews Church Cemetery in LaGrange NC. He leaves to cherish his memory 3 daughters, Nihya Wilson, Shanyaa Wilson, Shanihya Wilson of New Jersey, 1 step son Rahiem Arnold of Kinston, 1 step daughter Keasha Arnold of Kinston 3 Sons Anthony Cannon, Marquis Cannon, Corey Cannon of LaGrange NC, 1 sister Wanda Jones of Kinston, Grandmother Georgiana Wooten of the home, 2 grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 PM to 8 PM Friday July 10, 2009 from the Robert Swinson Jr. Memorial Chapel. Professional service entrusted to Swinson Funeral Service.
