Ms. Sallie Spencer, 93, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, March 21, 2011, at Harmony Hall Healthcare Center.
Her services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, March 26, from the Robert Swinson Jr. Memorial Chapel with Apostle Donnell Collier officiating. Interment will follow in Holly Hill Cemetery. Survivors include sons James Spencer and Mack Spencer of New Jersey, Jason Spencer of Henderson; daughters Mexico Dawson of Kinston, Verdia Jones of Virginia; brother Lonnie Gibbs of Alabama; and sisters Lena Gibbs of Virginia and Lillian Spencer of Engelhard.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home.
