The Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services mourn with the Savage family on the transition of Ms. Sarah Savage who passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2020.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2020, an hour before the funeral service at the Robert Swinson Jr. Memorial Chapel. Burial will take place at the LaGrange Cemetery following the funeral service.

Sarah Savage, born Aug 30, 1927 in Best Station NC. She departed her life December 6, 2020

Sarah was educated in Best Station School System

At an early age Sarah left home, Lagrange (The Bottom) to find employment in New York, She work for the Kasover, the founders of Macy’s Dept Store for over 50 years.

In her retirement, she enjoyed cooking, helping others and spending time with her family. She loved Family Reunions.

Sarah had a great passion for giving to others

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Savage and Henrietta Exum Savage; brothers, Wheeler “Duboy” Savage, Jessie James Savage, Frank James Savage, Roy Savage Jr. “Brad” and Leonard “Buddy” Savage, Acoya Savage, sisters, Geraldine Savage Kyle and Lauria “Sis” Savage; Hattie B Savage, ,Etta L Kornegay.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories, one brother Thomas M. (Rosa) Savage of Charlotte NC, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
