With Heavy hearts, we, the staff and management of R. Swinson Funeral Service, along with the Sutton Family, announce the transition of 80-year-old Mr. Simon Sutton of 3764 Poole Rd Kinston, NC, on July 3, 2023, at home.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife- Frances Plymouth Sutton, of the home. Also left to cherish his memory are children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of life will occur at 3 o'clock pm Sunday, July 9, 2023, from the Robert Swinson Jr. Memorial Chapel with Pastor Walter Parker officiating. Burial will follow the services at Hickory Grove Church Cemetery. A visitation will be held Saturday, July 8, 2023, from 4 to 6 pm from the chapel.
