Thelma Irene Taylor, 60, of 2302 Corey Court went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 1, 2010. A homegoing celebration will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, March 5, 2011, at Hull Road FWD. Survivors include son Timothy Lynk of Charlotte; daughters Shameka Hawkey of Kinston, Barbara Lynk of Chesapeake, Va., and Lynk Williams of Virginia Beach, Va.; brothers Lynwood Murrell of Fayetteville, Fred Murrell of Grifton, Clarence Bynum and Chris Murrell, both of Kinston, and Bruce Bynum of Miami, Fla.; sisters Mamie Wooten and Brenda Anthony, both of Kinston, Evelyn Lucas of Wendell and Jackie Murrell of Virginia. Visitation will be today from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Robert Swinson Jr. Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are made by Swinson Funeral Service.
