The Heavenly Angels, welcomed 69 year old, Mrs. Thelma Howard Williams to the celestial shores of rest on Friday, November 11, 2016 at Lenoir Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Services will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 11:00 AM from the McLewean Street Church with Pastor Shawn Howard officiating.  Burial will take place in the Pinelawn Cemetery. A public visitation will be held on Friday, November 18, 2016 from 4:00-7:00 PM from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel.

​Survivors include: her husband, Joseph B. Williams of the home; two sons, Jaron Williams of Kinston and Derryl Williams of Kinston; one daughter, Kasheia Williams of Kinston; one brother, Preston Howard of Oklahoma; one sister, Edna Bryant of Kinston; nine grandchildren and six great-grand children.

​Family  & Friends will be meeting at 632 Lonesome Pine Dr. Kinston where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral processional.
