Mr. Tommy R. Mewborne, 50 of 1101 Northview Drive Kinston departed this life Monday May 24, 2010 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro. Funeral services will be held on Saturday May 29, 2010 at 1 PM from the Grainger Chapel Church of Christ Disciples of Christ with Bishop Robert E. Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Phillip Cemetery. He leaves to cherish his loving memory mother Anna Mewborn of Kinston, 1 brother Kenneth D. Mewborn of Kinston, 4 sisters Jean Cantey of Grifton NC, Ethel Greer of Kinston, Daisy Mewborn of Grifton, and Breda Mewborn of Kinston, 1 grandchild. Viewing will be held on Friday May 28, 2010 3 PM to 8 PM at the funeral home. Professional services entrusted to Swinson Funeral Service.
