Mrs. Velma Roberson, 64 of 570 Sandhill Road, Dover, departed this life Wednesday September 30, 2015.

Funeral service will be held 2:00PM Sunday October 4,  2015 at 2:00 PM at the Christian Fellowship Center in Browntown. Commital service will take place at the Fariview Cemetery in LaGrange, NC.

A public viewing will be held on Saturday, Oct 4, 2015 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel.  The family will receive friends at the home of Johnnie Roberson Jr. 606 Boundary Street, Lagrange NC.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory parents James Edgeston and Thelma Edgeston, children Johnnie C. Roberson Jr., of LaGrange, Wesley Roberson of Kinston and Darnell Roberson of Dover, siblings James Edgeston, Robert Edgeston, Larry Edgeston, Gilbert Moore of Dover NC, Tony King of Kinston NC, Taverse Ward of Pollocksville NC, and Clifton Moore of New York,Sherry Edgeston of Dover and Dominque Ward of Pollocksville NC.
