Vera Simpson

Mrs. Vera Queen Isler Simpson, 60, of 309 Woodlawn Drive, died Sunday, July 26, 2009, at home. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 29 at Swinson Funeral Ser-vice with Joseph Williams, MD officiating. Survivors include her daughter, Nikki Nicole Simpson Cox; mother Estella Isler of Kinston; sisters Edna White of Albuquerque, N.M., Brenda Shackle-ford, Ernestine William, Ann Bright, and Bernice Isler, all of Kinston; brother Jimmy Isler of Kinston; and three grandchildren.
