Mrs. Verna Carol Davis of Atlanta formerly of Kinston died Thursday August 6, 2009 at Vista Care Hospice in GA. Funeral services will be held on Monday August 10, 2009 at 12 Noon from the Faith Tabernacle United Holy Church , Elder Robbie Millard, Pastor, Bishop Ralph Love, officiating. Burial to follow in the Westview Cemetery. She leaves to cherish her loving memory four daughters Carolyn Harris of LaGrange NC, Commicha Roberson of Georgia, Karen Tony Wooten of Kinston, ShavondaBlack of LaGrange NC, mother Mary Alice Davis of Kinston; three sisters; Marie Ellison of Georgia, Linda Thompson of Kinston and doris Waters of Kinston, 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Visitation will be held on Sunday August 9, 2009 4 PM to 8 PM. Professional services entrusted to Swinson Funeral Service.
