Wilbert Croom

With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services along with the Croom Family announce the transition of 91-year-old Mr. Wilbert Croom, of  2012 Carey Road Kinston, NC,  on Sunday, May 21, 2023 at Kitty Askins in Goldsboro, N.C.

Service will be held on Sunday, May 28, 2023 at 1:00pm from St. James AME Church on Shine Street, burial will follow in Mills Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Saturday, May 27, 2023 from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel from 4 to 6pm.

Mr. Croom is survived by his wife-Marie Croom of the home, three daughters-Karen Mackin, Sharon Croom, and Renita Torain, two sons-Craig Croom and Dexter Croom, two sisters- Frances Suggs and Glyndora Taylor and a host grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
