William Arthur Blount

With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services along with the Blount Family announce the transition of 61 year old Mr. William A. Blount of 625 E. Washington Ave., Kinston on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at his home.

Service will be held 1:00pm Saturday, April 8, 2023 from The Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel, burial will follow in the LaGrange Cemetery.   Visitation will be held Friday, April 7, 2023 from the chapel.

Mr. Blount is survived by his mother-Donella Blount of Kinston, four brothers-Walter Blount, Jr. of Dudley NC, Jimmy L. Blount of Goldsboro, NC, Chris Blount of Kinston, NC and Jesse Blount of San Bernadeno, California, three sisters-Myla Mayfield of Kinston, Shirley Grady of Dover, NC and Janice Simmons of Goldsboro, NC a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
