Mr. Willie Aster "Bill" Shackleford 91 of 628 Fields Street, Kinston departed this life Sunday April 6, 2014 at the NC Veterans Nursing Home in Fayetteville.
Funeral service will be held on Friday April 11, 2014 at 1:00 PM from the St. Mary Episcopal Church, 800 Roundtree Street in Kinston with Rev. Teddra Smith officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in the Pinelawn Memorial Park.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory Sons Edward "Pee Wee" Shackleford Sr., and Wesley "Bob" Shackleford Sr., brother Eddie Lee Shackleford Sr, sister Martha Lucille Jones, grandchildren Mya Shackleford, Wesley Shackleford Jr., Ganarda Hardnett, Edward Shackleford Jr., and April Bryant, great grandchildren Kevin Shackleford, Brianna Hardnett, Jasmine Shackleford and Amya Shackleford. Arrangements entrusted to Swinson Funeral Service of Kinston.
