Swinson Funeral Services announces the death of Mr. Willis AKA " Bud" Wilkes, 70, of 1406 E. Shine St. which passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2011 at Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greenville NC.

His services will be held at noon Thursday, March 17, from the Robert Swinson Jr. Memorial Chapel with Bishop Malcolm S. Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the La Grange Cemetery. Survivors include sisters Vanessa Hilyet of Chesapeake, Va., Renee Cox-Pulley of Norfolk, Va., Joann Cox-Bell of Virginia Beach, Va.; and brothers, Charlie J. Wilkes of Kinston, James Cox, Terry Cox and Timothy Cox, all of Norfolk, Va. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home.
