Wilson Griffin

Swinson Funeral Services announce the death of Mr. Wilson Griffin, 86, of 307 Stough Ave. which passed on Thursday, July 21, 2011 from his residence.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 27, at St. Mark Church Ministries with the Rev. Michelle Griffin Gooding officiating. Burial will follow in the La Grange Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Lula M. Griffin of the home; sons Chuck Griffin of Kinston, Robert Griffin of Dudley, Wilson Griffin and James Mackey of New Bern; daughters Judy Crouell of Dover, Charlene Griffin and Darlene Henderson of South Carolina; brother William Griffin Jr. of Kinston; his sisters, Mary G. Johnson of Goldsboro and Mable L. Griffin of Kinston; and 30 grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 26, at Swinson Funeral Service.
